On Sunday January 23, 2011, The "Hearts" of England Annual Family Luncheon took place at the Tally Ho Police Club to help raise funds for hospitals, medical centres and surgeries in the West Midlands for the purchase of cardiac equipment.
The luncheon was attended by the Lord and Lady Mayoress of Birmingham,
and sponsorship was provided by several companies, including Thos. Furber & Co. Ltd. In total, the event managed to raise a sum of £4900 towards helping the charity, which consists of a small unpaid committee dedicated to raising these much needed funds.
We wish the committee every success for the future in raising funds for the charity.
